We are pleased to welcome Steve Mahaney to Novita for the summer. Steve has more than a decade of professional experience as a theatre technician, having worked at Neptune Theatre, Theatre Calgary, and the Banff Centre for the Arts. Steve is one of only a few ETCP Certified Theatrical Riggers in Canada. He will be completing his degree as an Architectural Technician in the fall.

Novita Techne is designing green AV systems for Evergreen Brick Works, a heritage industrial site in Toronto that is being transformed into a multi-purpose, sustainable, green community centre.

Novita is a part of Kearns Mancini Architects + Patkau Architects' team for the Fort York Visitor Centre Design Competition. Come see our teams' submission along with the others' at the Open House being held at Toronto City Hall, December 4 to 6, noon to 6 pm. Comments from the public are welcome!

We wish to congratulate the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville on the opening of a new multi-purpose event facility, the Lebovic Centre for Arts and Entertainment - Nineteen on the Park. Novita was involved throughout the project, from business planning through to the design of theatrical systems. Opening celebrations will be from May 9th to 23rd - see the Town's website for details.
